rowing into a mature Christian is a spiritual growth process that does not happen automatically. In the physical world one does not automatically mature mentally and emotionally . You need people to come alongside you. You need them to instruct you, guide you, and model for you good ways to grow into a mature person. We call them parents, teachers, mentors, role models, etc. The same is true in the Spiritual realm of Christian growth. It is my desire to be a teacher and mentor for you.
I have designed these lessons to be very practical and Biblically oriented. Each lesson will challenge you to prayerfully examine your life. It will show you how to apply the lesson to your daily life so you can begin growing immediately.

THE BIBLE: The Bible is the most important book you will ever read. It teaches us how to live and how not to live. We will look at

four main styles of writing found in the Bible: History, Poetry, Instruction and Prophecy. You will learn how to properly
apply the things you read to your daily life. This is very important because too many times people misapply scripture to fit
